Tom Barry, President With over 35 years of industry experience, Mr. Barry continues to guide SSG-Barco forward. Employed in the 1980's as a Field Technician and truck driver for Barco Systems, he worked his way up through the ranks to become dispatcher and then General Manager. Joining SSG-Barco in 2003 as Vice President, he worked in an administrative roll working closely with CEO, President, and staff controller. Duties included client relations, marketing and advertising, payroll, insurance reviews, employee HR management, fleet management, and other duties as required. In 2020, Mr. Barry became President of SSG-Barco, Inc.
NJDEP UST Certification #009843 Jim Walsh, Vice President After graduating college with a degree in Environmental Science, Jim gained employment at SSG, Inc. in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. He was hired as a Field Project Manager. In 2003, he continued his role with SSG-Barco and also took on lead responsibility for Geoprobe drilling. After securing NJDEP Subsurface Evaluator licensing, he progressively became more involved with remediation delineation and design. AS SSG-Barco grew, he was promoted to Field Operations Manager. In 2020, Mr. Walsh became Vice President of SSG-Barco and assists with client realtions, marketing, fleet management and human resources as needed. Christine graduated with a Masters of Science in Hydrogeology from the University of Connecticut in 1996. She was hired by Barco Systems in 1999. Her experience for 3 decades includes Project Manager for leaking UST’s, delineation and treatment technologies for soil and ground water contamination, preparation of Remedial Action Workplans and Remedial Action Reports for NJDEP submittal, consulting and interactions with responsible parties, insurance adjusters, and regulatory agencies, Phase I environmental site assessments of commercial, industrial, and residential properties for proposed property transfers or refinancing for major lending institutions and construction management firms, report preparation in relation to the NJDEP Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) and the Bureau of Underground Storage Tanks (BUST).
